We are a team of dedicated and ambitious coaches with several years of coaching and competitive experience both in Slovenia and abroad. We believe that we can offer every player who wants to improve their game the support and knowledge they need.
We focus on the development of young players, as we are convinced that investing in future generations is key to success in tennis. Our approach is based on an individualized strategy for each player, allowing us to tailor training sessions and teaching methods to achieve optimal results.
I currently lead the tennis program at the Tennis Club Celje and contribute to the organization of international tournaments hosted by the club. As a coach, I have worked with competitive and recreational players of all ages and have been part of teams at international tournaments worldwide.
I hold a degree from the Faculty of Education at the University of Maribor, specializing in Sports Training with a focus on tennis. I believe in an individualized approach to training, as every player can progress in a way that suits their unique needs and goals.
I started playing tennis at the age of seven. For three years, I trained abroad under the guidance of renowned Czech coaches. I became a multiple-time national and cup champion, both in singles and doubles. I have completed all levels of coaching licenses in Slovenia.
My coaching career includes working with numerous talented players who reached the top of Slovenian tennis and competed in international tournaments. I successfully coached abroad for seven years, further enhancing my skills in the profession.
In recent years, I have been working at Tennis Club Celje, training competitive players and assisting with the tennis school. I also work with recreational players, helping them improve their weaknesses and elevate their game to the next level.
My best rankings include: 105th on the Tennis Europe rankings for under-16 players, 460th on the ITF Juniors world rankings for under-18 players, 1245th on the ITF world men's rankings, and 1358th on the ATP doubles rankings.
In addition to competing in tournaments, I have worked and continue to work as a hitting partner at professional tournaments, including WTA250 events, Roland Garros, and the WTA Finals, where I train with some of the best players in the world.
